We arrived at Becky’s home for the bridal preparations to find it calm with hair and make-up well underway. With the dress, shoes, flowers and accessories photographed we waited for Becky to get into her dress from Posh Togs. Another stunning bride!
The venue for their wedding was the East Close Hotel in Hinton. A relatively new venue and our first time there. We passed Darren and his Groomsmen having a pint at the pub up the road, so we knew that they wouldn’t be far behind. Darren arrived in a VW Camper, a surprise laid on by Becky who was arriving in a VW Beetle.
Becky arrived a little early so we sent her off for a 5 minute ride, our Bride’s are keen this week! Love must be in the air!!!
The ceremony was conducted by a friend of Becky and Darren’s making it a little more personal for them. As the ceremony ended the guests headed for the garden and just at that point we had a quick shower of rain but just as Becky and Darren headed for the garden the sun shone on them chasing the showers away for the rest of the day.
The guests enjoyed drinks on the lawn while we got on with the formal family photographs. Not wanting to chance the weather we had a short time with the bridal party before heading off into the grounds with Becky and Darren.
The guests were invited into the wedding breakfast before Becky and Darren were announced in. The speeches were a mix of being very emotional and quite hilarious once the best men got going with stories about Darren!
The evening’s entertainment was provided by ‘Nightshift’ with Darren’s Dad Dave on the drums! They certainly got the party started.
We wish Becky and Darren all the best for their future together and we look forward to seeing them when they return from their honeymoon in the Maldives.
