Karen and Stuart’s Wedding 9th July 2011

Karen was getting ready at her sister Lynda’s home where we arrived to find everything going to plan and even a little ahead of time. We found the dresses, shoes and all the accessories in one room and were able to get on with photographing these while the finishing touches were made to hair and makeup by Sara and Dawn from Evolve. The flowers from By Arrangement were delivered, Karen’s bouquet looked amazing and the bridesmaid’s bouquet and flower girl’s posy were just perfect.

With the preparations completed it was time for Karen to get into her dress, helped by Lynda and Vicky the bridesmaid. The dress from Brides of Bournemouth was very elegant, complimented with a long veil and the beautiful bouquet Karen looked stunning.

We always enjoy this part of the day when everything has run to time and we are able to spend some time with the bride, you can never get this time back when the Bride is just perfect and we are able to get some lovely bridal portraits. We moved into the garden with Karen and were joined by the bridal party as they were ready.

On arriving at All saints Church in Branksome we found Stuart, Andy the Best Man and Chris and Oliver the Ushers ready and waiting. We always like to get on with their photos so that they can meet and greet the guests as they arrive. Karen arrived a little ahead of time so a quick trip around the block while the guests took their seats in the church before returning for her arrival photos.

Karen was escorted by her Dad down the aisle to Stuart who was waiting for her.  The marriage ceremony was very personal and enjoyed by their family and friends. With the registers signed the newly married couple processed out of the church.

The formal family photos were followed by the traditional shower of confetti before we headed off to Coy Pond area for some time with the couple. Their journey then took them on to The Cumberland Hotel for their wedding celebrations. They were greeted by Brian who is always so friendly and accommodating. With a few arrival shots and the wedding breakfast room decorations covered we left the couple to celebrate and enjoy the rest of the day with their guests.

We wish Karen and Stuart all the best for their future together and look forward to seeing them when they return from their honeymoon.
