Having covered the bridal preparations we left Astra who looked stunning in her wedding dress from Sassy Brides for St Johns Church in Broadstone to meet the Groom, Best man and Ushers who were being dropped off from the red London bus which had transported them and the guests from The Marsham Court Hotel. We had a few moments alone with the guys while the bus took the guests around the block.
With the arrival of the bride imminent the guests took their seats and Astra’s Mum was escorted to her seat. After the final touches to the dress and a few deep breaths the bridal procession began. Astra accompanied by her Dad, Bridesmaids and Bride’s mate made their way up the aisle to Andrew so that the ceremony could begin.
The ceremony, with two readings from the mothers of the Bride and Groom and with the candle ceremony made it very personal. With the formalities over the couple left the church smiling all the way and looking so happy. The guests joined them in the churchyard for some formal photos before being showered with confetti as they walked up the path to board the bus for the trip back to The Marsham Court Hotel for the reception.
As the wedding breakfast and speeches came to an end and with a quick freshen up we left foe the beach for some early evening photography. The fresh breeze was welcome and the lighting was perfect. Astra and Andrew also had a preview of some aerial acrobatics by some planes which included the Red Arrows presumably practising for the airshow. It was as if they had arranged for their own personal display.
The evening continued with a disco. the guests took to the floor after the couples first dance. It looked like it was going to be a night of partying!
We wish Astra and Andrew all the very best for their future together and look forward to seeing them when they return from honeymoon.
