Carole & Alan’s Wedding 17th February 2012

The Guildhall Poole and the RNLI college were the venues for Carole and Alan’s wedding.

We arrived for the bridal preparations to find Carole quite relaxed and not seeming at all nervous. While she was having her hair styled and make up applied we photographed the dress, accessories and flowers and as always time flies and it was time for Carole to get into her dress, a beautiful lace dress and matching bolero from Special Occasions. After a few bridal portraits we left to meet Alan and his bothers down at the Angel Inn suitably located for the Guildhall.

The guests arrived to the sound of bagpipes which entertained them whilst they were waiting to go into the ceremony room. The piper also accompanied the Bride and her father to Alan who was waiting for them with the registrar.

With the ceremony complete the piper led the newly married couple back outside to their guests for the formal group photographs. After the couple were showered with confetti the guests made their way over to the RNLI for drinks while we went off with Carole and Alan down to the quay for a short time alone with them for a few photos of just the two of them.

They were driven to the RNLI in style in one of Barnes Vintage style wedding cars whilst sipping a glass or two of champagne to rejoin their guests for more drinks and canapés.

With the reception decorations photographed, the cake cut shot taken and a few more photographs of the couple on the balcony we left them to enjoy the wedding breakfast.

We thank Carole and Alan for their hospitality and wish them both a very happy future together. We hope you enjoy this selection of wedding photographs from their day. All of the images will be available to view online as soon as we have seen Carole and Alan.
