Wedding Ceremony held at St Georges, Oakdale
Reception at The Dudsbury Golf Club
The Dudsbury Farmhouse was the location for the Bridal preparations. We arrived to find some excited ladies all preparing for the big day ahead. Kate the make-up artist was busy with Claire’s Mum Sue and Georgie was styling Claire’s hair, wow did they do a fantastic job (as always). The bridesmaids were upstairs also busy with hair and make-up.
Claire’s dress from Chameleon was absolutely amazing, a designer gown (called Fatima – I think) by Enzoani with flowing fabrics and a belt decorated with crystals and of course Claire looked stunning.
At the church the guys were in great form, looking so smart in their suits and stripey socks! With the bridesmaids arriving everyone made their way into the church as we anticipated the brides arrival in a Bentley from Premier Carriages.
After the ceremony the newly married couple emerged from the church and were joined by their guests for a few group photos before heading off to see Claire’s Grandad at a local hospital, he had been too poorly to attend the wedding.
A piper was waiting at Dudsbury Golf Club to greet Claire and Stuart and with time for a quick glass of Pimm’s we jumped into some golf buggies and headed off to the lake for some time with the Bride and Groom.
The wedding breakfast room was decorated with some colourful flowers and teacups which everyone was commenting on and with the meal and speeches complete and a few photos of the bridal party everyone was ready to party. The evening got off to a very fine start with a poem written by Sue which brought tears of laughter, joy and pulled some heart-strings.
The dance floor was full right from the start, the guests were determined to dance the night away and have fun. A fabulous wedding and so many friendly and happy people, you were all truly amazing!
It was great to see two couples whose weddings we had photographed and to catch up on their latest news.
We wish Claire and Stuart lots of happiness for their future together and we look forward to seeing them again. We are busy preparing their images from the day so while we are doing this we hope you enjoy these few images from their day.
