Carol & Chris’ Wedding 3rd August 2012 at Parley Manor

The bridal preparations were happening at the home of Carol’s aunty Jackie. We arrived to find makeup under way and as we were photographing the dress and accessories the bridesmaids started to arrive and were getting more and more excited as the morning went on. As the preparations were completed Jackie helped Carol into her dress, the girls couldn’t wait to see her. While we were in the well-tended garden with Carol the bridesmaids were  getting their dresses on and joined us as they were ready.

We arrived at Parley Manor  to find the guys not wanting to get out of the red Ferrari’s from Superwed that they has just arrived in. I’m sure that they would have liked to have put their foot down and gone for a spin – perfect weather for it but being sensible they thought better of it!

It wasn’t that long ago that we saw Chris at Marcus and Joanne’s wedding in April (which we photographed) when he was Head Usher with the responsibilities of a Best man, now it was his turn to be the Groom and Marcus the Best man.

As the bridesmaids arrived the guests made their way down to the ceremony area and the two Ferrari’s appeared at the top of the drive this time bringing Carol and her Dad, wow what an entrance!

After the ceremony and during the drinks reception the quartet played in the gardens and everyone was quite content with a glass of Pimms listening to the music in the warmth of the summer sun.

With photographs taken and guests in their seats it was time for the wedding breakfast to begin. A wonderful selection of barbecued food and salad followed by Eton Mess or cheesecake with a glass or two of wine – perfect! Great food again from Merlins catering.

The evening entertainment consisted of a disco and to keep the guests even more entertained fun casino tables and a Smiley photobooth. With the daylight fading into  night, the evening guests arriving, the first dance over it was time for the party to really begin.

We wish Carol and Chris all the very best for their future together and thank them for their hospitality. We are busy preparing their images from the day so while we are doing this we hope you enjoy these few images from their day.
