Jenny and Fraser’s wedding took place on probably one of the hottest days of the year, such a contrast to when we last met for their planning meeting which must have been one of the wettest days of the year!
The wedding was full of music in the oak panelled Grand Hall with The Lemongrove playing while the guests were waiting for the bride’s entrance and then during the ceremony there were friends and family singing and playing which really personalised the ceremony.
Jenny looked elegant in her wedding dress and Fraser quite the Scot in his kilt as did other family members. The newly married couple after the ceremony were joined by their guests on the lawn outside the Great Hall for the drinks reception where The Lemongrove continued to entertain everyone enjoying the afternoon sunshine.
With family photographs taken and some with the couple it was time for the speeches and wedding breakfast back in the Great Hall.
The evening celebrations started with the traditional cutting of the cake and then on to a ceilidh. Almost everyone took to the floor and following the callers instruction managed to get around the dancefloor whilst have much laughter and fun.
We wish Jenny and Fraser all the very best for their future together and thank them for their hospitality. We are busy preparing their images from the day so while we are doing this we hope you enjoy these few images from their day.
