Bournemouth Beach Wedding for Jenny and Graham and a reception at The Chine Hotel.
An early start for everyone today with an 11am ceremony. We arrived at The Chine Hotel for a little after 7.30am and found Jenny having the first stages of her hair being done. Everyone seemed to have been up since about 5am!
Jenny wasn’t showing any nerves and was looking forward to the day. The weather was looking fine, no wind, no rain and even the sun was trying to break through!
We met Graham, Matt the Best Man and Charlie down at the beach and shortly after their arrival the guests started to arrive. Jenny arrived and after meeting with the registrars prepared herself for her grand entrance accompanied by Damon who was giving her away, Amber and Jordan the Bridesmaids.
With vows made, rings exchanged and registers signed the couple left the Beach Hut now as Mr and Mrs. The guests joined them for a few family photographs on the beach after which they left for the hotel while we made use of the October sunshine by staying on the beach for some Bride and Groom portraits. We all bid our farewells to Melanie and her team at Beach Weddings Bournemouth and headed over to the Chine Hotel.
Over at The Chine during the drinks reception we made use of the lower garden for a few photos before a photo of everyone and the throwing of confetti. Wow, I usually describe this as the couple being showered with confetti but on this occasion it has to be described as a downpour! Can’t remember that amount of confetti in a long time.
The wedding breakfast was served and as the main course started disaster struck. Jordan (Jenny’s daughter) fell and broke her ankle and spent most of the afternoon and well into the evening over at Bournemouth Hospital. She returned on crutches and in a plaster cast.
Still the party went on and after the first dance we had set up our Funtasia Fotobooth and invited guests to come over and dig in to our props for some fun photos, this alway creates such a laugh and Jordan was so looking forward to it, still she looks great it that hospital gown! As Jenny has said perhaps they will come back next year so that they can party all over again.
We wish Jenny and Graham all the very best for their future together and would like to thank them for the hospitality and for choosing us to be their photographers. We enjoyed being part of their day, such a lovely couple.
We are busy preparing their images from the day so while we are doing this we hope you enjoy these few images. All of the photos from the day will be available to view online as soon as we have finished editing and we have seen Jenny and Graham. The following link will take you directly to their online gallery within our client area. You will need the password provided in order to access the gallery.
