Allana & George’s Wedding 18th May 2013

A beautiful wedding for Allana and George in the new wedding gazebo at The Chine Hotel Bournemouth.

Allana was having her hair styled by Laura from Static Hair followed by make up from Louise from Loulabelle Beauty when we arrived and all was quite calm. As the morning progressed flowers were delivered and Allana’s bridesmaids started to arrive for the final preparations of the day. Allana looked gorgeous in her beautiful wedding dress from Special Occasions. The bride’s vibrant red bouquet from Simply Flowers consisted of roses which were interspersed with thistles reflecting Allana’s Scottish heritage, the roses matched the colour of the bridesmaids dresses and the roses in bridesmaid’s bouquets matched the wedding dress, everything looked just perfect.

George was at the ceremony venue with his Ushers and Best Man when we arrived. The buttonholes just needed to be pinned on and they were then ready for a few photos ahead of the guest arrivals.

The Chine Hotel are now able to hold ceremonies outside and we were excited at the thought of being able to photograph one of the first weddings in the new wedding Gazebo in the gardens of The Chine Hotel Bournemouth.

It had started to cloud over just before the ceremony and we felt a couple of spots of rain while Allana was confirming details with the registrars. Margaret the registrar conducting the ceremony started the ceremony promptly ‘just in case’. It didn’t come to anything and the sun started to shine soon after the ceremony.

As drinks and canapes were served, the family photographs were taken while Brian a piper (Piper 2000)  played for the enjoyment of the guests.  We slipped away to the lower garden and then onto the beach for some Bride and Groom photos while the guests chatted enjoying the afternoon sunshine.

The cake had been made and decorated by Allana’s sister Maddi and looked really good, we heard that she had been feeding it with brandy for a while so it would have tasted really good  too.  It was cut just before dessert to be served with coffee and the speeches which caused tears and laughter followed dessert. The Father of the Bride asked the hire company for a hat to go with his ‘penguin suit’, we think someone misunderstood his request!!!!!!!

As the afternoon turned to evening a few more guests arrived and it was time for the party to begin after the newly married couples’ first dance.

The Chine Hotel team, Karen, Tom and all their staff did a fantastic job as usual we really enjoy working there, so friendly and professional.

We would like to thank Allana and George for their hospitality and wish them all the very best for their future together. We enjoyed their wedding and we loved being part of it. We are busy preparing their images from the day so while we are doing this we hope you enjoy these few images.

The following link will take you directly to their online galleries within our client area. The images below are already there if you wish to view and purchase any of them. All of the photos from the day will be available to view there as well as soon as we have finished editing and seen Allana and George.
