Rachel and Jason’s Wedding at the Salterns Harbourside Hotel, Poole, Dorset
Rachel and Jason wanted to have their wedding outside at the Salterns Harbourside Hotel’s wedding Gazebo. The weather was kind to them, the sky a beautiful blue with white fluffy clouds and with sea views across Poole Harbour providing a lovely backdrop for the ceremony.
Rachel looked stunning as she made her way along the red carpet to the wedding Gazebo where Jason nervously waited for her. They made their promises and vows in front of their guests and signed the register completing the formalities of the day. The newly married couple enjoyed a drinks reception on the lawn with their guests during which the formal family photos were taken.
With a few photos of the Bride and Groom taken around the hotel grounds it was time for the wedding breakfast. the speeches were at the end of the meal after which there was a short break for the guests to enjoy coffee in the late afternoon sunshine while the room was turned around for the evening.
Rachel and Jason were keen for some beach photos so we slipped away to take advantage of the late afternoon sunshine on the Sandbanks peninsula.
The evening started with the traditional cutting of the cake a little ahead of the first dance and then with the sun going down and a beautiful sunset appearing we couldn’t resist inviting the couple for a few last shots out on the hotel’s balcony.
We would like to thank Rachel, Jason and their families for their hospitality. We enjoyed the wedding and loved being part of it. We wish Rachel and Jason all the very best for their future together. We are busy preparing their images from the day so while we are doing this we hope you enjoy these few images.
