Deborah & David’s Wedding 28th September 2013

Wedding at St Mary’s Church, Sturminster Marshall and The Miramar Hotel, Bournemouth

Today’s photography coverage started at the church with meeting the Groom, Best Man and Ushers. Overnight it had rained so it was a little wet underfoot but the forecast for the remainder of the day was dry.

The Bridesmaids arrived which signals that the Bride isn’t far behind and that it’s time for the guests to make their way into church. Brides still try to keep the tradition that no one sees her until she walks down the aisle and Deborah wanted to keep to this traditio

Today’s photography coverage started at the church with meeting the Groom, Best Man and Ushers. Overnight it had rained so it was a little wet underfoot but the forecast for the remainder of the day was dry.

The Bridesmaids arrived which signals that the Bride n. So with only the Bridesmaids and Deborah’s Mother waiting by the lych-gate the Bride arrived with her Dad in a Dorset Dub camper van  called Lottie.

Deborah looked stunning and so elegant in her beautiful wedding dress and as she stood at the church door the Bridesmaids made sure that the dress was just so  and that the train laid perfectly.

The ceremony was personalised with a couple of readings which included ‘The Owl and the Pussy Cat’ read by the Bride’s Father. The newly married couple’s exit from the church into the warm afternoon  was announced  by the ringing of the church bells.

As everyone congregated at the lych-gate for the confetti throw there simply wasn’t enough room for them all to throw confetti at the same time so for the first time that we can remember we had to do it twice!

The guests made their way to the Miramar Hotel so that they were there to greet the Bride and Groom on their arrival at the hotel which gave us a little time for some Bride & Groom shots at the church.

After the wedding breakfast there was just enough light for a few photos in the hotel grounds before the evening celebrations started with the Bride and Groom’s first dance.

We would like to thank Deborah and David for their hospitality, the food was delicious and we wish them all the very best for their future together. We are busy preparing their images from the day so while we are doing this we hope you enjoy these few images.

The following link will take you directly to their online galleries within our client area. The images below are already there if you wish to view and purchase any of them. All of the photos from the day will be available to view there as well as soon as we have finished editing and seen Deborah and David.
