Lucy and Craig’s Wedding at St Edwards Church Corfe Castle and a reception at Morton’s House Hotel
The wedding photography coverage for Lucy and Craig’s wedding started with meeting the Groom, his Best Men and Ushers at the church ahead of the guest arrivals.
With a few shots of the guys we turned our attention to the guests and prepared for Lucy’s arrival with her Father and Bridesmaids.
The day was dry and fairly mild for December although a little cloudy. We had felt a few spots of rain and hoped that it didn’t turn into anything more.
Lucy arrived in a traditional Rolls Royce from Brides Choice Wedding Cars looking gorgeous in her lace wedding dress with her Bridesmaid and Dad and with a few arrival shots made her way to the church door where Revd. Ian Jackson was waiting to greet her.
Lucy made her entrance down the aisle to Craig who was nervously awaiting her arrival. The ceremony included hymns and two readings read by guests and a chuckle or two when the couple knelt down for prayers and Craig shoes had written on the sole ‘help me’! After the signing of the register the newly married couple made their way out of the church for the formal photos. The wind had got up and it was a little chilly so as soon as the formal photos were complete and the confetti thrown Lucy and Craig popped back into the church for a few photos (and a warm up) of just the two of them while the guests made their way over to Morton’s House Hotel.
We left the warmth of the church for some Bride and Groom photos before Lucy and Craig had a short ride in the wedding car over to Morton’s House Hotel to join their guests for the drinks reception.
The guests joined the Bride and Groom for a photo in the hotel courtyard before they were invited to take their seats for the wedding breakfast. While the guests were being seated we took a few more photos of the couple in the warmth of the oak panelled lounge beside the spectacular Christmas tree before they were announced in to their wedding breakfast.
We wish Lucy and Craig all the very best for their future together. We are busy preparing their images from the day so while we are doing this we hope you enjoy these few images.
