Gemma & Marcus’ Wedding 24th May 2014

Gemma and Marcus’ Wedding at
The Orangery Suite, Wimborne, Dorset

We met Gemma last year when she was a Bridesmaid at her Sister’s wedding and were delighted when we were asked to photograph her wedding.

It was an early start to the day and with the reception being held in a marquee in a field next to her parents home it was a busy morning for everyone. Everything was going to plan although it did seem that the rain was never going to stop!

Gemma was soon in her dress and while the girls were getting into their Bridesmaid dresses we were able to get some lovely Bridal portraits before they joined the Bride. The rain stopped and Gemma was keen to have a photo with her Pony who was in the field opposite the Marquee. Gemma slipped on her silver coloured Hunter Wedding Wellington’s  and we made a quick dash to the field before leaving to meet Marcus at the Orangery Suite.

The rain was holding off and Marcus arrived with his Brothers the Best Men and the cute little Page Boy, Lucas. With the arrival of The Bride in a vintage bus everyone took their seats in the ceremony room.

Gemma walked down the aisle on the arm of her Dad  to the Formula 1 theme tune which caused a laugh amongst the guests but had meaning to Gemma and Marcus.

The ceremony complete, rings exchanged and registers signed Gemma and Marcus walked back up the aisle and out into the beautiful gardens of The Orangery Suite for the formal photos followed by drinks and canapes.

The gardens at the Orangery Suite are great for entertaining guests while the couple are having their photographs taken with garden games such as giant chess, crazy golf, connect 4, croquet, a climbing net to name but a few or just a wander around the beautiful flower beds.

At the marquee more guests were arriving to greet the newly married couple who arrived back on the bus. The marquee looked great and after an arrival drink everyone was greeted into the marquee for the speeches and wedding breakfast.

Our fun ‘Fotobooth’ provided some evening entertainment for the guests, such a great laugh and the DJ added that little bit extra with some dance floor fun.

We would like to thank Gemma and Marcus and their families for their hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed their wedding and wish them all the very best for their future together.

We are busy preparing their images from the day so while we are doing this we hope you have enjoyed these images. The following link will take you directly to their online galleries within our client area. The images above are already there if you wish to view and purchase any of them. All of the photos from the day will be available to view there as well as soon as we have finished editing and Gemma and Marcus have had first look. You will need the password provided in order to access the galleries.
