Bournemouth Wedding Photographer – The Chine Hotel – Millie & Aaron’s Wedding

Millie and Aaron’s Wedding at The Chine Hotel, Bournemouth, Dorset

It looked as though today was going to be the hottest day of the year so far!

Millie was getting ready at the Chine Hotel with the Bridesmaids so not far to travel to the ceremony and with all the doors and windows open creating a cooling breeze through the room everyone busied themselves getting ready. The flower girls were ready and waiting and were spellbound not taking their eyes off the beautiful bride as she was getting into the her fabulous wedding gown.

We left the girls to their final preparations and went to find the Groom, Best man and Ushers waiting in reception. A few arrival shots at the front of the hotel and then we wentdown into the ceremony area in the hotel garden, a perfect day for the ceremony to be held outside. The Chine Hotel gardens lends itself to an outside ceremony in a cool wooded area with a glimpse of the sea and feeling very private.

Aaron’s family joined in for some photos ahead of the ceremony and included a family ritual of a ‘funny-faced selfie!

The newly married couple were joined after the ceremony by all their guests for the family and friends photos, the throwing of confetti and the drinks reception.

While the guests were enjoying the afternoon sunshine with a drink in their hand we slipped away with the Bridal party down to the beach with a quick stop off in the gardens. The bridal party was great fun to be with and had us laughing all through the day.

The beach was packed but we managed to find a spot on the water’s edge and the people on the beach were very accommodating, not everyday a Bride turns up next to you on the beach!

The wedding breakfast barbecue, an ideal choice for the day was followed by the speeches and then a ‘bridesmaids rap’ which was very amusing and quite different!

The evening celebrations got underway with the Bride and Groom’s first dance, then the party really started with everyone joining in and doing their bit, Aaron’s ‘break dancing’ was a big hit!
