WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

Saturday 22 JUNE 2013 9.30am – 5.30pm

We are delighted to introduce our first wedding photography workshop based in the beautiful village of Corfe which is in the middle of The Isle Of Purbeck, 5 miles from Wareham in Dorset. The day commences at 9.30am at Morton’s House Hotel with an introduction to the world of wedding photography today. Afterwards we will be straight into the first of 3 sessions with our Bride and Groom models. Splitting into 2 groups, we will show you how to take the pre-ceremony individual portraits of our Bride and Groom – ‘Bride at Home’ and ‘Groom Arrival’. Next is a walk across the road to the historical St Edward King and Martyr Church, where we will be able to run through the Bridal Party arrival, Groom waiting and the kind of images you can expect to take during the ceremony. This session continues with exit from the church and the formal group photos.

We then break for lunch back to Morton’s House Hotel. A light lunch and drinks are included in the price.

The final session is in the stunning grounds of Corfe Castle where we will have approximately 3 hours here to create some amazing Bride and Groom images, both traditional and contemporary.

There will be time for everyone to photograph the couple, fully participate and share ideas. The images from the day are fully ‘model released’ and you will be able to do whatever you wish with them to advertise your services and start / top up your portfolio. Please note however, that any images taken in the castle grounds may not be re-sold for commercial gain as we are on National Trust property.

Dave Jackson Photography is run by husband and wife team Dave and Janice and will also be ably assisted by Martin our assistant photographer. Dave and Janice have over 30 years experience in the wedding industry and covered over 50 weddings during 2012 and 2013 is looking just as busy!

We aim to allow as much time as possible for shooting, but will be on hand all day to answer any questions regarding any aspect of the wedding photography business, including planning, processing workflow, album supply and design, marketing and advertising.

The day will finish with a general Q&A session back at Morton’s House Hotel ending at approx 5.30.

The total cost for the day is £195. A £100 non-refundable deposit is required to secure a place and the balance of £95 is due on 22 May. you can pay by bank transfer if you do internet banking or use any credit / debit card in our ‘Make A Payment’ facility on our web site.
