Linda and Eric’s Renewal of Vows Ceremony at
The Queens Hotel, Bournemouth
Linda and Eric celebrated their 20th Wedding anniversary with a renewal of vows ceremony shared with family and friends.
Linda and Eric remained separate for the preparations and met up away from the guests who had started to arrive and were congregating in the bar ahead of the ceremony. With Linda getting ready in one of the top floor suites she had a birds eye view of everyone arriving!
The guests were shown through to the ceremony area and Linda and Eric made their entrance into the ceremony together to a round of applause.
Diana Saxby from ‘Grace the Day’ delivered a lovely personalised ceremony and to record the event Linda and Eric signed their guest book which was then passed to Granddaughter Emma who took charge of making sure that everyone made an entry.
The weather was turning and all day we were expecting a thunder-storm and rain. The rain was really threatening so the family photographs were taken in the ceremony area. We did however manage to get outside for a few photos of the couple and an overhead shot of everyone during the drinks reception.
The celebratory meal was served and we had been invited to stay, this was unexpected but very welcome. The meal was delicious and we thank Linda and Eric for their hospitality.
A caricature artist was entertaining guests with some fantastic drawings, family thought that Linda and Eric’s looked great in their signing book.
The meal drew to a close, the room was turned round and the evening’s entertainment with Gary Grace and a swing band got everyone tapping their feet and some took to the floor.
We would like to thank Carole, Theresa and the staff at The Queen’s Hotel for their help and assistance throughout the day, it was a pleasure to work there and we look forward to seeing them again soon.
