We have acquired some new equipment over the past few weeks and were keen to try some of it out.
Having shot with the now legendary Fuji X100 for a while, I have always wanted the Fuji Xpro 1. I couldn’t resist a great deal at The Photography Show and bought one there which included an 18mm lens and choice of a free lens from Fuji as well! I chose the 60mm macro F2.4 as the freebie as this doubles as a superb portrait lens as well. A 35mm F1.4 has also been added.
We shoot regularly with Tasha, and she was the perfect choice for this shoot. We wanted to achieve some different looks using a couple of lighting set ups and alternating between the D700 and Fuji, and my latest film camera addition – the awesome Nikon F5 – generally accepted as ‘the best 35mm film camera ever made’!
